Me at the controls of an E652. Ok, it's in the depot
and not moving.
My name is Michael Prader, I'm 26 years old and live in South Tyrol in northern Italy.
I am deeply into railroading and everything related. That is why after high school I chose my profession to be in this vast field. In 2011 I obtained my degree as "Diplom-Ingenieur" (MSc) in Civil Engineering, Railroad.
Since summer 2006 I've been working for a local South Tyrolean rail infrastructure provider, the STA AG (Südtiroler Transportstrukturen - South Tyrolean Transport infrastructures) in our beautiful Vinschgau valley. They operate the Vinschgerbahn line, which was reopened on May 5th, 2005. What have I been doing there? Studies about double track sections for dynamic meets, development of electrification proposals, and a lot of other stuff.
